I'm a new X300 owner.I'm pleased with the mower but curious about fuel economy.It runs great but seems to go through fuel pretty quick.Curious as to how many hours you get on a full tank? My past mowers have all been single cylinder 42" cuts" this is my first twin cylinder mower.

I have the Kawasaki engine 48" cut and I can cut over 4 acres on less than a tank.

Thanks,how many hours would you say roughly on a tank of fuel for the 4 acres.

The higher and thicker your grass is, the more fuel you will use.
So it most likely will vary each use.

5/6 hrs. approx.

Mow about 1 1/2 acres in 2 hours with the new X300 42", takes about a third of a tank (little over a gallon.) With our old Craftsman L2000 42" with a 17HP Kohler it took about 1 1/2 gallons. Also took about a half hour longer with the old mower - blade slippage.
