WORX has finally joined the Li-Ion battery powered lawn mower family with a 19" mulching blade, steel deck and front caster wheels that is powered by two (2) 56 volt 2.5 Ah Li-Ion batteries. It is a 3 in 1 unit with mulching, rear bagging (1.4 bushels) and side discharge capabilities, and the deck can be adjusted to seven (7) height settings, ranging from 1-1/4" to 4". Pricing on the WORX website is $499.

I like worx stuff, it usually seems to be pretty well made.

There is also a model with conventional fixed front wheels for $100 less:

Instead of two 2.5 Ah batteries, this lower price model is supplied with one 2.5 Ah and one 2.0 Ah battery for presumably slightly less total run time, but also a faster recharge time for the smaller capacity battery. Also, this mower is about 6 pounds lighter and uses a single height adjustment lever for all four wheels. Both mowers have deck water hose cleanout connectors, which AFAIK is a first for an electric mower. Otherwise the two mowers share the same significant specs such as blade length and bag capacity.
