New to ventrac, looking for info

Hey everybody! If you hadn't seen my previous posts, I lucked out a received a Ventrac 4100 as a perk when we bought a new home. We only have 2 acres but it is steep and hilly. The machine still slides at times-any recommendations?

I am also looking for plain english understanding of the weight balance.
I have a 72" mower deck and 4 suitcase weights on the rear.

I am in the market for a blade/plow (let me know if you are willing to part with one)
I really want a snow blower but can't afford that plunge.

I called about a dozen dealers today, no one has used blowers or plows. They also told me I don't need snow chains, that tires and weight balance can manage any slippage issue...opinions/experience on this?
