I picked up a new to me a 1995 Gravely 16G with 299 hours on the meter. It has a 50" deck with manual lift, but I will be changing it to hydro lift. Has the factory stock tires. The paint needs rubbing compound because its faded. Everything works but the headlights (bad switch)

Congrats! Those Gravely riders will last forever if properly maintained. I had a '74 816 I sold last year--it was a workhorse. Looks like you got a good one--clean and low hours.

Degreased the engine, was not very dirty, wrapped the muffler. Needs a front wheel bearing. Ordered engine guard, bearings, seat. Changed all the fluids, trans/oil/filter/air filter. Going to change tires, get some rear wheel weights.

Yes, along with 3 others just like it. This tractor is ten years older then the 16G.
