Hi Guys,
I just got a 1993 10415 push mower from a guy at work. He gave it to me for the engine but wants the body back. The engine has fire so I cleaned the carb and will try to start it tomorrow after I get a bowl gasket. It has the F series engine on it from what I gather on here. It has a metal Walbro carb. My question is I have found another one about the same style but it is self propelled. Will the engine swap over to it ? I am going to try and get the guy to sell me the frame and restore this one if possible but if he doesn't want to I am looking at options. Was the 10415 a good model for Lawnboy ? Any advice is appreciated and I am fairly versed in two stroke engines( Merc 150 XR6, Kawasaki 440 Jet Ski, Mcculloch49 Kart engine, etc.) If I get to keep the 10415 it will need a new throttle cable and maybe some wheels. Do these have to be bough through LB or can generic stuff fit and work ?
Thanks,
