Hi mower gurus.

I'm new to the forum and new to the lawn business and wondered how other lawn care providers in states that get a lot of rain handle cutting wet grass. I have a Toro 6.5hp but it doesn't seem like it does the job. Do i need a higher horse power mower. Im also using the highest setting.I have to cut in the somewhat wet conditions if not I'll be behind.

Thanks for the feedback

This is coming get from a native texan.

Lowcut, Not in the trade , but lots of wet grass in spring (70 inches rain). I can not pick up mown wet grass so wait till the grass starts to droop and mow windrows for later pickup. I do hear pros mowing in the area with better outfits, but do see some leftover grass when they are through. This forum has addressed this question many times. Also try searching here

Edit: welcome
