New to Forum, 223-D question

Hi, I am new to the forum. I have a 1987 WHEELHORSE that was my dad's. Still mows great and has a plow and trailer. I will be looking for advice later on paint to use.

I am actually here to help my friend. He has a collection of seven Toro mowers. He was using the 223-D with 70" deck when the motor just stopped without making a noise or anything. It is now seized and won't turn over even with a wrench on the crankshaft nut. It's a diesel. Any ideas what may have happened? You can respond to waynenorcross@yahoo.com.

Thanks, Wayne

Check oil level on dipstick & also smell for diesel fuel. Break injector lines loose then try to turn engine over. Let us know how it goes, thanks, Mark
