New to celebration bermuda

Good afternoon, looking for advice and help on how to upkeep my new sod. Installed Celebration Bermuda 3 weeks ago. Got my first cut in today and I am little worried. I got a Rolux X20 Reel mower and mowed at the highest setting 1 3/8”. The sod looks scalped but I figured I cut more than I should have for cutting it to late. I am applying 20-0-10 Almighty as part of my routing fertilizing every 120 days also watering everyday 45min at night. Live in Miami so very hot already. I have sprinkler system did a irrigation test and output is 1” every 45’. Looking to start cutting back in water 1 day at a time but feel is too hot.
