My father in law has a LT160. He bought a mulching kit, which included 2 blades and a plastic shroud that goes fits around the back side of the blades and also blocks the discharge opening. We've only mowed a couple of times, but it seems to me that the cut is uneven. I get streaks sometimes which make it look like I missed it, but I even overlap my cuts. Longer grass is more noticeable. I, myself have a walk behind mulcher. 1 blade, so I can't say that's an even comparsion. We replaced the spindles last year with ones that had grease fittings. Everything seems to be aligned. Just don't understand the lousy cut we're getting. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. It don't help when I read another person's tread that said the dealer told him "not" to buy a mulching kit...
