Hello everybody. After just joining up I looked at a few threads. Looks like this is a great site to be a part of. My wife and I live on 4 acres on the outskirts of Cut-N-Shoot, Texas. We share the property with a relative's family which helps with the mowing. Both of our families have small vegetable gardens. Our mowers consist of a John Deere D-140 and a Yardman self propelled push mower. For other small land projects we have a 1948 Ford 8N tractor with a brush hog, a middle buster, a blade that has several angle settings as well as being reversible, and a small bucket. All these attachments are 3 point hook-ups. Other small engine lawn and garden equipment include a Cub Cadet 450 series rear tine tiller, a Honda FG110 Mini Tiller, an Echo SRM-230 Grass Trimmer/Brush Cutter, and a Stihl MS 181 C-BE. Right now I don't have any questions but it's probably just a matter of time before I do. Craig Jones

Thanks for your rapid reply Boobala, but now I have doubts about this site being beneficial. As far as financial assets go, all me and the little missus have don't amount to much. As far as vehicles go we just have one. Its a 1960 Corvair 700 Sedan. It will still start and go a little ways every once in awhile. The land title is in our relative's name. We're both retired living on S.S. + government subsidies. We don't have as much as a picture of any aircraft, but I got to thinking about something. When Preston Tucker tried to compete with the big 3 in the automotive industry he modified an air cooled engine that was originally designed for a helicopter. That's what got me to thinking about the engine in that Corvair. I mean it being air cooled and all maybe it might be modified to work in a helicopter. What do you think? Just out of curiosity I'd like to ask you a personal question. You don't happen to be the same Boobala that Larry the Cable Guy fostered do you?
