Hello, I'm a new member from east tn. I've been mowing lawns for 18 years off and on for extra income. I haven't done it in a few years though. I'm looking to start back up mowing a few yards at first and work my way up. I'm not in any hurry to do this full time because I have a decent job. Currently I only have an old rider lawn mower, a push mower, couple of trimmers, and basically everything I need to maintain my own yard. I look forward to learning new ideas and tips from this forum.

I would think you'd have quite a collection of machines, after 18 years.

I'm in Knoxville. I started mowing lawns when I was 13 for extra income so as you can imagine I didn't make much money. About 100 bucks a month give or take. I have never made a lot of money doing it so I never really felt the need for bigger and better equipment.

Yeah, we got a few inches. Just enough to slow everything down because we aren't really equiped for the snow around here. Do you get a lot of snow over there?

About the same...roads are icy as hell. I didn't bother trying to get out to open the store...and going to start late tomorrow I reckon.
