I'm new to forum, just saying Hello. I own a 2003 John Deere X485 with a 54" deck. The unit has approx. 900 hours on it. I mow approx. 2 plus acres. Found your site while searching for answers to a surging problem I was having with my 485. Found out that the fuel line was unhooked from fuel pump in the fuel tank. I will be visiting your site on a regular basis, a lot of good information. Thanks much.
