The john Deere tractor was part of the estate and I longer have access to it. I need is something to use around the property To cut the grass and brush and maintain the brush, And do some minor earthwork. I decided to try a garden tractor rather than a lawn tractor. I chose a craftsman 5100 tight turn garden tractor. The major problem I'm having with it is the inside wheel turns So tight that it actually turn sideways and binds up. I'm gonna have two designed a stop to keep the wheels from turning to sharp. the tractor has a 48 inch lawn mowing deck. A front end scoop And a rear and attached plow. I added two fifty five pound wheel weights. It is nothing like the john Deere tractor but is better than a shovel and wheel-borrow. I also have a pull behind DR Driveway rake and blade. We will see how it works.

StevenAONeill - A friend has a Craftsman Tight Turn GT, & if you don't slow down when making a turn, it can break off the wheel.. Least it did on his.
A 'Stop' sounds like a good idea.. Good Luck with your new machine !!!
