Just joined up this morning, I live in central Alberta, Canada ..... just east of Edmonton in Strathcona County. Our tractor club (www.strathconavintagetractor.com) picked up a little Satoh 650 G tractor last year with a class I 3-point hitch. We also acquired a Kubota MR6000 mower which someone had converted to use with a 3-point system. It looks like it was originally a belly mower for some kind of tractor, not sure what model. The local Kubota dealer seems puzzled by the model and isn't interested in finding out much about it unfortunately. Photo attached here of us using the equipment, when the photo was taken the mower didn't seem to be cutting very well and we were experiencing quite a bit of shake, rattle, and roll which we are working on fixing. Some belt tracking issues and PTO shaft sloppiness we suspect. We do a bit of farming at a historic farm site (the Bremner Farm) in Strathcona County where we have a lease on about 30 acres where we have vintage tractor pulls. We also grow hay and grain crops and take the crops off using vintage farm equipment as much as reasonably possible. Photo attached of the tractor and the mower on an experimental run.
