To start off with, I got a z345m from home depot. I didnt not know the differences in model numbers and I stopped by a JD dealer and saw a z345r. So I carried the one back to Home Depot and got the z345r from the AgPro dealer. I had them install a bagger before I picked it up. I cut grass with the z345m twice and it did a wonderful job other that of course leaving all the grass in the yard, which is why I wanted the bagger. So last night I cust grass with the z345r with the bagger and to my surprise it was throwing grass all over the place. It was bagging it but two laps around the yard and I was covered head to toe with grass. It throws it out the right side of the deck and blows up, and it blows it out the front and back up on the floor board and all down my shoes and over my legs. Surely this cant be right can it? Does anyone on here have a clue how to fix or keep this from happening? I have googled and googled and dont see where anyone has complained and I would think if this was normal someone would have complained. It was so back and had to strip down in the garage and go take a shower before I could put anything up last night. It looks like the bagger is staight forward how it attaches and looks like its on right. Thanks for any help.

So the bagger is bagging but the deck is also throwing grass out and all over. Is this what you are saying?

Was the high lift blades and front baffle installed?
yes the bagger was filling up normal but it is throwing it all over me and the mower. It is mostly doing it in front and on the left side. I was covered.
I just looked at the pic of it. I think I see what you are talking about. I will have to check on it and here is why I say this..... I bought the bagger and mulch kit also. When I got there Friday to pick it up he handed me the manuals and a plate looking thing. I asked him what the heck is this and he told me the mulch kit and bagger can not be on at the same time cause this gets in the way of the bagger so you have to take the bagger off and install this with these two bolts. That is not what they told me when I bought it so I left the mower and they took the mulch kit of saturday morning and I picked it up saturday afternoon. I wonder if they didnt put that baffle back in for the bagger cause it dont look like to me that the baffle could not be used with the mulch kit.

From John Deere:
"This front baffle included with the bagger attachment is not required if the mower deck is equipped with the MulchControl™ attachment. The MulchControl front baffle can remain, with the gate open for bagging, and serves the same purpose."

You refrence both the r and m model. I am only referencing the r model. Can you clarify what model you have?
Also the front baffle with the mulch kit wasnt the problem, it was the side baffle on the discharger. It would not let the bagger be installed with it on.
Well dang, I looked last night and the front baffle is on it. I went by the dealer and they said they have not had any complaints on my situation. Deck is level so heck I dont know what to do.

I was thinking about this last night. Only thing I could come up with was you may be mowing to high. Not enough grass hitting deck to keep grass in. Now with that said i would remove grass collection shoot and mow. See if it still blows grass out and all over you.
