Found the forum when I was troubleshooting my HRR last week, this is my first post. My now extinct 10 year old HRR164TDA has been replaced by a new HRX217VKA I bought at HD yesterday. Used the new HRX yesterday for the first time, really cool even in 95 degree Texas weather. The bigger engine and variable speed drive were the first thing I noticed, quieter engine with less vibration too. Even SWMBO likes to use it. I have a new coil and a used coil for the HRR that I will sell cheap if somebody needs one.
