Hello Lawnmowerforum community. My name is Sam and I live in Mims, FL. I recently found a nice looking Craftsman mower on Craigslist and picked her up. She looks like new, runs like new, and thats why I came on this site to learn a bit about her. I learned that you can tell the manufacture date by the serial number, and to my great surprise, was manufactured Aug 15th, 1997. The only imperfection is the seat has tape over a tear I suppose. And my other disappointment is the lack of wheels on the deck. I guess some models came with wheels, some didn't. I bought a kit for the two rear wheels and a front roller. I appreciate this forum and hope to contribute in the future.

Hello Sam welcome to the community. That is a very nice mower. Keep it serviced and the grass blown off the deck and it will serve you well.
Thanks Catherine, nice to see a lady amid the sea of testosterone in this forum.

What is the model number. We can give you a lot more info with that.
I did download the service manual. What is this parts manual? I could use that for sure. I have just been using the sears website for OE part schematics. But a manual would be nice.

The quick is that it is made by Husqvarna. Rest is coming.
