ok hi guys im new here. it looks like a great site! i have an old ariens rm 830a riding lawn mower. its in really great shape. the 8hp briggs died some time ago. i kinda set it aside for a long while. i got an 11hp briggs i decided to put on in its place. its all bolted up and looks like everything should work fine.
my problem is when i hook up the battery the wires to the starter get hot without me even doing anything. i disconnected it as i dodnt wanna burn it up. does anyone know whats going on here?
this is a great little rider and id love to get it going in time for fall so i can take it to do my dads yard for him. thanks guys, Mike
