Morning I'm new as of last night lol. I own a couple of lawn tractors and it hasn't been a good season for either. My first is an old Snapper SR930 that I swapped a high hour 11 horse to 3 years ago to replace the old 9 horse. Well it finally let go at the beginning of the season. I found my Craftsman LT1000 used for $200 needing a muffler. Got that fixed and was happily mowing until two weeks ago when the 16 horse let go. Popped the intake valve after a restart. Thankfully it didn't ruin the piston and sleeve I was picking up the throttle to continue when it broke. I had a question about the head and got an answer quickly thanks....going to replace it with a used one I'm not going to invest a lot of money in my craigslist find. While I'm waiting for the head I might revisit the snapper. I found a complete 11 horse that can be had for $185 or I might tear it down to see what went wrong with it. Last time it ran I cut a little over a half acre and parked it. When I went to use it again It wouldn't turn over and only rolls through a half stroke before it gets tight and stops. Anyway that's for an after work project might take a few weeks to get to. Overtime ends on the First and I'll have time to do everything that's stacking up. Now it's time to ride and enjoy my one day off....

It sounds like we might see you a lot around here.
LOL I hope not....in that capacity anyway. I can fix anything that I can get parts for but I couldn't find any kind of cross reference for what I was needing.
