New Cub Cadet ZT1 question about first oil change

I just picked up a new ZT1-50 with the Kawasaki FR691V engine. In the cub cadet owners manual it states to change the 'break in' oil at 5 hours but the manual is used for several models and I think some of them use different engines. The Kawasaki engine owners manual makes no mention of changing the oil until 100 hours or yearly. I have no idea what oil is shipped with the unit as it was already full when it arrive.
On the one hand--not that expensive to change the oil and filter at 5 hours and it may be good insurance, on the other seem like overkill.
I have the same engine in a JD X570 and there was no mention of changing the oil before the normal maintenance interval.
Thoughts?

The oil they usually come with is SAE 30 universal break-in oil. All new engines require a break-in or wear in period which is short. These are air cooled engines and not like a regular car engine.

It is important to change the oil and filter at around 5 hours so all of the "scrub sediments" from the parts wearing in properly can be removed.

Refill with a good 10W-30 oil or whatever the manufacturer recommends to keep your warranty valid. Make sure to keep receipts and document date of service for the records.
