New craftsman T100 36 inch deck

Just bought this mower have cut the lawn twice . It only comes with a mulching kit already attached . ( no side discharge ) both times I’ve cut the mower has been leaving uncut grass in my paths .. first I thought maybe the grass wa just high and I’m mulching .. but the second time grass wasn’t high . Still missing strips while I’m mowing .. any idea what it could be?

Is the deck pitched and leveled as outlined in your manual?
Don’t take it for granted that it was done correctly by the seller.
