Hi all I'm Rich an Ex-pat Brit living in France and i'm just looking around hoping to pick up some advice

My advice is never volunteer, never loan money to friends or relations, keep your nose clean, hands to yourself, and mind your own business.

The British are known for being reserved - particularly when out of their comfort zone. Here is how the French see them:
