New blades,still some vibrations

Honda HRR2167VKA struck a hard plastic water meter cover and bent the lower blade. I installed a new set of Honda blades and it still has vibration...noticeably more than before the mishap. The mower is 3 or 4 yrs old and has always run very well.

The strike was to an object that was hard but not heavy;it may have gotten jammed between the blade and deck wall. Is it easy to internally damage this model?

Take the plug out and remove the blades. Have a helper slowing pull the engine over, while you watch the end of the crankshaft. If it wobbles, that means you also bent the crankshaft.

If it has a damaged crank,it would be cheaper to get a new one or possibly hunt for a good used unit.

If you have the tools and time to remove and replace a crankshaft, then it would be cheapest to go that way. Paying a shop to do it could exceed the cost of a new engine. Ideally, you might find a clean used mower with a matching engine and simply swap it out.
