Neep Help Deciding on a Mower

Hello I am new to this forum and joined it because I need some guidance. I am looking for a push or self push mower to mow my 1/3 acre lot. I have done my research but as this point I have read so many things on Toro, Husqvarna and Honda that I cannot make a decision on what brand or model to buy :confused2:. I do not mind the extra work with a push mower and the only thing that I truly want is a mower that will mow as low as 1 inch since I have Tiffway Bermuda 419.

Any help would be appreciated, I figured ask the people that actually own a mower. If you all can think of any other brand that is worth mentioning be my guest.

Personally I'd recommend a Reel Type lawn mower for mowing Bermuda grass, you can use a rotary mower but you have to be careful. Tifway Bermuda is a good grass for residential but is more commonly used in commercial landscapes, golf courses, parks and athletic fields. When you mow allow clippings to remain, it's good for the grass, grass clippings decompose quickly and can provide 25% of your lawns fertilizer needs.I also would Suggested not removing more than 1/3 of the leaf growth during a single mowing especially with Bermuda, Don't scalp it.

Any of the three mowers you listed the Toro, Husqvarna and Honda will work alright but if you want a real nice lawn and want a healthy Bermuda lawn I'd mow with a Reel Type. Just My Opinion.

Locke Reel mower, 30 -36" or even a 72" triplex. It's what makes baseball fields look beautiful.
