Need to change my deck.

I need to change out my deck. Kohler CV15s engine is on a Yardman body. I can't get under it, so I thought I would flip it up on its back wheels and prop it up.
Will this cause oil, etc. to flow to bad places?

It could. I'm not familar with that engine. If tipping the mower with put the cylinder head even with or below the crankcase (e.g. the cylinder head is in any orientation other than facing forward in a horizontal mount) then oil may go where it shouldn't. Of course if you drained the oil and gas first (gas could run into the carb in an abnormal orientation also), your plan should be feasible.
