Has anyone on here hear of a murray rider with a 206cc 5hp engine made from briggs & Stratton? I am buying one but they said it starts but does not drive. Any ideas on this too?:confused2: here is a pic
I found its a 5hp 25 inch mower
Is it worth it to fix?

No, even if you got the mower for free.. If you could find parts for it, they would be costly, and if you spent a bunch of money to fix it all up, it still
wouldn't be worth much.

Well I picked it up and it works, I have to add a woodruff key to he rear axel and I might clean the carb up. I starts to dy when I start to mow the lawn. I think that it hasn't run in such a long time that it needs to have the gas run though it. Spark plug needs to be replaced.
I think it will run pretty good after the updates to it. Very clean and well kept when I picked it up. Very little rust! It is a Murray 5hp Briggs & Stratton 206cc engine , 3 speed, 25 inch blade. 5/25. All original parts. It has a peerless transmission from Tecumseh. I am quite happy with the purchase, its was only 45 bucks. I have been looking for parts and there are some out there. I have not been able to find the manual for it. The opposite side of the RER, the decal is completely worn out.
