I have a JD 727A ZT mower that I want to use on a 30 degree grade on my pond dam. I have fished it out of the pond a couple of times after ignoring the manual warning about mowing on slopes. Since I plan to keep violating the rules, does anyone know of a tire, ag or otherwise, that would keep it from slipping down the slope when mowing? I only mow when the grass is absolutely dry.

I don't really know of any tire that would guarantee to hold reliably on that kind of a slope. I would suggest to buy a cheap, used lawn tractor to do that section rather than risk damage to your machine and potentially injure yourself.
