Need help determining the proper fuel pump connection and switch wiring on B&G 11 HP 256412-1153-E1?

I have an old Homelite LR5500 generator with an 11HP Briggs and Stratton engine that I'm reconditioning to sell - it wasn't running before. This is not my first B&S engine reconditioning (e.g., rebuilding the carburetor, replacing the coil, cleaning up the flywheel, etc.). However, this is the first I've had a fuel pump and 2-way switch on the engine and I'm having difficulty finding out how the fuel pump fuel lines run and how the wiring should be for the switch. I've downloaded the engine specific owners and parts manuals from B&S, but they do not illustrate the proper wiring or how the fuel lines properly link to the pump then carburetor. Sometimes the parts manuals will elude to or infer some form of assembly but not in this case.

It has a 2-way 3 pole switch and wiring which I'm not sure how to properly address it, and the fuel line is not a direct connect to the carburetor but through some form of fuel pump assembly the size of a small stack of credit cards.

I've added some pictures. I do have the fuel pump linked together to fuel lines, I was just guessing and had taken some pictures but I really don't know if they are correct. The pictures are of everything reassembled because I did expect it to start since I took pictures of the fuel system, but that doesn't mean someone didn't fool with it before I had it and that's why it was not running as a result. In the picture, there is a 3rd line behind the bottom one in the picture. As for the wires, White, Red, Black. White is split and it appears maybe one end of the white goes to the Coil but the other is hanging loose in Red wire pic - it appears attached but it is not. Red looks like it is grounded to the engine, and black I'm not sure.

I thought maybe someone here might have some insight, suggestion or experience with this or similar type of small engine assembly.

Contact Homelite at 800 number & ask them to email you a wiring schematic for your generator.
You're absolutely correct svlawnmower.
You may want to give B&S Customer/Tech Support a call asking for schematic, have all engine #'s handy.

Mechanic Mark!
Thanks, I will do that. A couple questions. I would think that information would be the engine manufacturer since it is a part of the engine? And the second part of my question is the fuel pump routing. I may be wrong but I wouldn't think that would be a Homelite question.

Thanks for the input, I will contact Homelite.

I did manage to figure it out on my own. The fuel and vacuum lines were switched on the fuel pump and my guess with the on-off switch was correct.
