mystery ball bearing in air filter

When air filter cover was removed there was a ball bearing loose in bottom of air filter. Where does it belong? Carburetor, maybe?

Yes it is entirely possible, just like...in that movie where a lady had a tumor removed that turned out to be her unborn twin brother. BTW, tumor was in her neck! Are you sure it was a ball bearing not a Crystal ball...because you're not telling us much? Brand, type, model#?
