When I engage the blades the mower makes a howling noise. so I installed a new clutch, and it makes the same noise. I checked the spindles the best I could. no play and no wobble, any suggestions.

the plastic pullies have lots of bearing problems. try to narrow it down to a certain pully then just replace it. I changed out 3 on my mower but have 1300 hours on it.
