my honda mower wont start

i can start it after it has sat for a day or longer, after stating the mower it wont start again....
It seems like gas is pouring out even the air filter is wet with gas, any suggestions?

If the air filter is soaked with gas, they would indicate that the carb needle valve is leaking. will require removing and cleaning the carb, or replace carb( sometimes cheaper). Also will need to replace air filter

Agreed carb cleaning will prolly solve the problem. Thing with hondas however is that the carbs are usually quite inexpensive to replace

Might be something loose or cracked in the fuel tank, supply tube, clamp, etc. Or a fault in the carb itself. Need to find and confirm the source of the leaking fuel first. Most Honda mowers

I can share a couple of pages from the shop manual that diagram the fuel system if you want to DIY, but I'll need the full serial number off the back of the mower deck:

clean the carb sounds like its got crap in the needle and seat
