Hi and thank you in advance for all the knowledge you can share with me. I recently move and after 3 months my grass is (what I think) really dead. I'm extremely amateur in grass/plants related and I truly want to make my grass as pretty and healthy it can be. I'm attaching a sad picture on how it looks and I'm open to any recommendation on how can I reseed or replant or whatever is need it.

Things maybe can help to give a better idea:
-I live in Cape Coral
-I tried to re-seed with "Scotts turf builder grass seed bermuda" for a couple weeks without luck.

Thank you!

Hello,

I'd talk to a local landscaping supply (I'm talking a mom and pop shop, not Lowes or Home Depot). They will be familiar with the type of grass grown in your area and would give you tips on how to successfully grow it.

Regards

Jeff

That looks like Bahia grass. I am assuming Cap Coral Florida. I so it may be dormant. When rainey season hits it should come back. A little late now for weed and feed but a good fertilizer will help.

I've had some of those places as well on my backyard, and they were especially near house, I don't know why. So long story short, what I've done - simply made some layers from weed barriers ECOgardener ( got it here: https://bestyardproducts.com/best-weed-barriers/ ), so I could put any substance I want on it. I'm glad that it's very easy to setup at any place of garden and there was no need to hire any kind of professional help.
