Murray Model 621500x4NA - what should the spark plug read for testing?

I am using a multi-meter to determine if my sparkplug is not working on my Murray snow-blower. I cleaned the carb last year and it worked fine. However, this year when I pull and even when I use the Electric Starter, I cannot get it to work. Spark plug testing : from the videos I watched, it looks like the reading should be between 6-7 (20K setting on the multimeter). However, they are using a different spark plug in the video than I have, so I have no idea if this reading is uniform throughout all sparkplugs. The sparkplug I have is a Champion CJ6 sparkplug. Right now, when I get a reading, it is about 3.15. I am new to this, so I apologize if I have said something in error here. If clarification is needed, please ask.

I’ve been working on engines for over 50 years and have never heard of an accurate way to test spark plugs with a multimeter. If I think a plug might be bad I just change it.

Try the questionable spark plug in a known good engine, push lawnmower, or the like. . .
Thanks

New sparkplug didn't help, I am going to clean the carb next.
