Murray model 40504x92A won't start

I have tried about all I know to fix this problem but am unable to do so. I have replaced all safety switches and ignition switch. I can start the mower by jumping power directly to the starter but we I release the clutch it dies or when I engage the blade it dies. Any ideas or suggestions?

it might be low compression... Check the compression on engine.

I know you said you replaced all the safety switches but it sounds like the seat switch. To troubleshoot jumper the wires together and try it.
