I can't figure out where this yellow wire? Look at the picture and you'll see the seat safety switch and one yellow wire that looks like a wire connector. I looked inside the Murray where it is located and nothing. Nothing on diagrams. I can't get it to start or turn over. I checked the battery 13amps it is good. Checked solenoid it showed good, I replaced it anyway. Checked the starter and it is good. I hooked battery to it and it cranks. I did a test from the battery to the starter 12.33amps. So I think I checked every thing. Maybe the carb solenoid?
Thank you

Second the seat switch circuit has nothing to do the cranking just affect the running as it only kills the magneto (ignition) coil. Also ignore the loose wire as the mower seat switch appears to be hardwired back to the ignition switch. Also the wiring does not indicate a carburetor fuel solenoid.
So you must trace the wiring from the battery through the fuse, ignition switch, brake switch, and PTO switch to the starter solenoid. Checking for a live circuit when the switches are all in the start positions. Noting that wire terminals can be bad at any connection point including inside the fuse holder. Also make sure you install the fuse on the right terminal of the starter solenoid Ie the one with the cable from the battery.
Well, I did get it running after checking the coil, cleaning it, and the flywheel up. Changed the spark plug.
I have a video about the way it is running. But I can't upload video.
It starts up, popping out the muffler, then stops. Yet it blows/pops, not really a loud noise, out of the carb.
I say blow, it's not bad a little smoke like out of the tailpipe Wish I could share the video.
I figure adjust valves and take the head off and cleans them around the set?
