The drive belt on a Murray 125/96 front engine is off every time I go to use it. It doesn't come off in use, only when it is left overnight, under tension. Usually it comes off the idler, but this week it was off the rear pulley too, which has a fairly tight retainer and is quite hard to get on and off when you want to. Can anyone explain?
Make sure the transmission support bracket hasn't come loose allowing the transmission to tilt. Support bracket will be normally on one of the front corners. Also will lead to the frame cracking at the point the axle housing bolt to the frame.

You need someone to buy you a gremlin bell. That's weird.
