Took the left rear axle out of my Mule 550 to replace the seal and bearing
Where the axle housing bolts to the transmission they used a silver RTV.
Kawasaki Bond, $34 a tube.
I have some permatex ultra black gasket maker thats resistant to engine oil, should it be good with gear oil?
Thanks

Sounds like Kaw uses the same Aluminum based anarobic RTV sealant that tuff-torq uses. The black should be fine for your use. worse case is the stuff starts leaking and you have to pull it apart again and use the correct stuff.
