My 10 y/o Yardman (model 13ac76lf055) won't start. However using jumper cables direct from battery to starter switch it will turn over. In the midst of trying to work on it, I dropped something on the ground near it and wanted to roll it a few inches. The wheels were locked. Normally it will roll when not running and in neutral. I replaced the battery first thing thinking was user-error. I have also replaced the ignition switch. Would a bad parking switch cause the "won't run" and "wheels won't roll" scenario? Thanks!

A bad fuse, bad brake switch, bad pto switch, or bad solenoid will all cause a no crank issue. The no roll issue is most likely the parking brake on the transmission has rusted pins and is now stuck in the applied position.
