MTD B&S Engine rope start suddenly pulls hard, won't start

Hey everyone,
Our five year old or so MTD push mower has been reliable as a watch and fully serviced yearly.
Yesterday we moved half our big yard w/ no problem. Moved around back, and suddenly the rope start
is hard to pull and the engine shows zero sign of firing, let alone starting.

Up til now it's been one easy tug. This is an easy start model w/ no throttle control.

Ideas? Oil is clean and full. Nothing was hit. Unit was not tipped over. Thanks in advance.

Ok got it, guess the recoil start had rewound funny and jammed. Cleared it and we're back in business. Thanks everyone.
