It uses a dowel pin to secure.
The picture shows the bottom side. Remove the starter rope if its not already off. Let starter spin back so not tension. Turn starter over. Remove sticker on top.
Using a punch tap dowl out. Use a piece of pipe or a spacer to rest bottom part on.
Once dowl is out the plate, dog pawls and pulley will come off.
