I have a Murray riding mower with a 12.5 B&S engine. The battery is hot but it only clicks when I try to start it. I can jump the mower directly to the starter post and it will crank. When it's running, it won't cut off with the key switch. Is the problem with the solenoid or the ignition switch, or maybe something else?

Key switch - try wd40 in the tumbler to break up winter moisture surface rust . Follow the wires for mice bites from winter nesting .
I replaced the ignition switch with a used one off my parts mower and the mower will start and run now, but it still won't cut off when I turn off the ignition switch. I'm inclined to think the kill wire is broken somewhere between the engine and the switch. Does anyone happen to have a wiring diagram for this mower? It is a Murray, model # 40508X92D. Mgf Date 01005, serial # 7431400514F165. Any help will be much appreciated.
