Hello all I have a problem with my craftsman mower, model 247.203744 where the engine won't crank at all. Was working fine last time I used it but now it won't even attempt to crank. The transaxle was frozen at first but I can push on it a couple of times and it will now roll freely. When I try to crank the engine the red LED on the switch will flicker briefly and then nothing, like a dead battery. Charged the battery but it wan't dead, just a little low. Where do I go from here ? THANKS

first i'd be sure to check all connections. be sure the battery post connectors are tight, the red lead on the starter is tight.
But it could also be where the battery is bad, it is possible for them to charge up but when a load is placed on them (Like starting a engine) the voltage quickly drops below 10 volts and nothing.
do you have a voltmeter/multimeter?
