I have a craftsman 16 HP. 917.27535

I replaced regulator. Then drove mower. It ran good then started running rough.
I did have trouble with installing the fly wheel How do you know if the flywheel is tight enough?
I thing I could have damaged the key in the flywheel

Thanks in advance for your help. If you need more info. Let me know

Thank for your help

I rebuilt the carb last month

It ran fine yesterday but it started running really bad. I did not have the flywheel to tight.

What is the best was to tighten the flywheel?

I will get the engine number in a little while and post it.

Thanks everyone. The diagram especially was a big help too. What I did wrong was using the impact wrench to install the flywheel. When I did this I broke the key.
Thanks again.
