Mower Stalled when Engaging Blades

I was mowing one of my accounts and when I engaged the deck (manual clutch) on my Exmark Turf Tracer HP the mower stalled. I tried it again engaging the clutch more slowly and again it bogged down, but I released it before it stalled. Crap, I've got a serious issue!

So I tipped the mower back to check under the deck, pulled my traffic cone out from under it and then it was fine, lol. I guess I backed over the cone coming off my trailer and didn't realize it. That was a first for me!

I was straight and sober, I swear. I had the cone close to my trailer gate because it's a tight squeeze to park in front of that account and I didn't want to block access to the mailbox.
