I just saw an advertisement on TV for Gorilla Tape and the tape makers were suggesting/recommending
that it is just the thing to re-attach the discharge chute to your push mower. While I think the tape is a good product,
I think this is irresponsible and dangerous use for the tape. Am I being too safety conscious here or is this simply a bad ad??
I’d say a little of both. Most responsible people, unless you’re Redneck mechinic from Michigan, would know that is not a smart move. I’m sure their legal team has OKed the ad so they don’t get sued. Have you watched the political ads lately? Many of their statements (lies) are worse than that.

While i think it's stupid to use tape for a permanent fix on something like that, as tough as that gorilla tape is, i wouldn't doubt it's ability to work.
