mower dies, battery not charging

I have a Bobcat ZT 219 model 942221A with a 19 hp Kawasaki #FH601V. It is not charging the battery & it stalls, no sputtering or skipping, it just dies.. I have installed a new battery, fuses, voltage regulator, solenoid & checked the wiring harness. Still not charging & dies. Could it be the charging coil? How do you test it & replace it if needed.

The link was very helpful. I tested the stator "charging coil" & it is bad. No voltage. I got the old one out & am ordering a new one today. Easy to change.

Put the new stator in today & still no voltage???? Could the flywheel magnets be bad?
