Mower deck won't engage

Hi,I have a Lazer Z 30+ hp it runs good and mows good but after I mow a lawn (so the mower is at operating temp) I shut the mower off for a few minutes start it back up the engine will not go to full throttle and the deck won't engage when I pull the pto knob.If it sits and totally cools down everything works as it should.Any input would be appreciated.

Remove blower housing & clean engine cooling fins, do not use water, I use various small tools & a Shop Vac. Engine needs to breathe & run cooler.

I have seen the terminals in the pto terminal block have the little tab in the center break in the start circuit and do the same thing it might do it in the clutch circuit as well. Take the terminal block off and look at the terminals to see if this is what is happing.
