hi,,i tried goin back to original non mulch blades as suggested on my Toro rider.it did help but not much.this rider just wouldnt throw the grass in the bagger as needed.i thought about changing the pulley/speeding up the blades a tad bit,but then i figured id be replacing the spindles in 2/3 months.so i tried opening the mouth of the mower deck 1/4 inch and bending the opening like a fish mouth,WOW THAT DID DO THE JOB.im guessing the grass was constantly getting caught on the flat edges of the deck.i realise very few ppl are gonna hack n bend on a rider thats barely 3 yrs old.this mower(Toro with Kohler Courage motor) has been a VERY BAD PURCHASE from day one.ive barely had this mower 3yrs and ive replaced a few things already that shouldnt need to be replaced within the first yr of use.its had the oil changed in it 4 times already,i take very good care of anything i buy,mower/truck/motorhome etc.when this mower does BITE THE DUST i have no idea what id buy to replace it,,but i know it WILL NOT SAY COURAGE ON THE UNIT ANYWHERE PERIOD.
i appreciate youre guys input and suggestions.its nice to be able to read so many different ideas/suggestions to think about or try on these riding mowers=no matter the brand.

Next time before purchasing, look online first and visit several dealers and give them a test drive operating all controls & go with a twin cylinder engine. By looking online, manufacturers sometimes run specials with incentives.
