While mowing today, the mower (Model 3661 with powerfold) just quit. Tractor was running fine. Checked the torque on the blades and it was correct at 55 pounds. Checked the PTO 10 amp fuse and it was ok but I replaced it anyway. As I quit working on it I noticed the light switch was on but the lights were not active. They worked last night when I was mowing. The mower and tractor have both been lubricated routinely. Mower is a 2020 model 727K EFI. Need help guys!!

Hello MedicineMan7,

Look for a main fuse box and check all fuses, then inspect all harness wires for any rub through damage.

Will it still crank and run? If so, check the charging voltage to the battery at high RPM. It should show around 13.5V or better

Tractor cranks and runs perfectly. Mower deck will not run. PTO not turning. Already inspected the harness all the way to the tractor and its OK. Mower just stopped working. I'm wondering if it's the mower seat safety switch or maybe the PTO clutch??

PTO clutch switch?

I don't have a wiring harness diagram for reference.

We need the manufactures label information to get a correct diagram to study. Basic machines make and model is just the bare basics.

Is this stored outside?
Do you use a power washer on it?
Do you have mice at your house?

noticed the light switch was on but the lights were not active.
One circuit you need to check into.
PTO not turning.
Figure out why. Do you have battery power AT the PTO? Ground on that circuit good? Is the PTO switch actually good?
inspected the harness all the way to the tractor and its OK
With your eyes or a meter using a 5 amp (headlight bulb) test light? Circuit needs to be loaded (amps) for testing.
