My Question(s): Which mower should I get for my new lawn? Zero turn for all the obstacles? Or a wider deck for the acreage? For snow removal is it best to get a separate walk-behind two-stage thrower or put one in the front of a garden tracktor?
My challenge: Mow 3 mostly level acres containing 50 obstacles in 2 hours in the crazy Midwest spring/summer/fall, then move 100 yards of snow off mildly sloping blacktop driveway during unpredictable Wisconsin winters in rural setting including frequent drifts.
The nearest dealers/implements are about an hours' drive in any direction so reliability and mainenance is a large factor.
If you would be so kind to reply with your insights and recommendations, please accept my thanks in advance.
Currently, I'm using my father-in-law's 48" Simplicity on my 3 acre lot but I'm very envious of his Gravely ZT, of which I've spent many hours circling trees on his 10 acre lot.
